Hosting w/ Email Support
Once your website is ready to launch, you'll have two choices for hosting with Adobe Business Catalyst. The first is just hosting, and all the goodies that come with it, and the second is hosting with email support from me.
Most clients go with the extra support from me, at least for the first couple of months, because that means I'm on-call to answer your questions about your site or the BC system. For $15 extra a month, you get the security of knowing I'm here to hold your hand a bit longer.
Monthly Retainers
Sometimes a bit of email support isn't enough to get sh*t done for your biz. For clients with bigger ongoing needs, I will work with you to create a customized monthly retainer (which will include your hosting fee, so no need to pay two monthly bills!).
Monthly retainers can include anything you'd like:
- Phone support availability
- Maintenance hours
- Design hours
- Monthly consultations (business or brand styling, for example)
- Email newsletter implementation and scheduling
- eCourse management
- SEO maintenance
- ... pretty much anything you can think of that you'll need on an ongoing basis
Monthly retainer fees vary depending on your needs, but usually range between $150 - $500 / month.
Website Maintenance & Hourly Design
Current clients have the option of hiring me for hourly website maintenance and design. Hourly services can be used for projects that aren't big enough to need a full proposal and project status.
Website maintenance can include anything from updating homepage images to creating new email marketing lists. Building out secure zones or updating payment processors.
Design hours are used for things like updating business card designs, tweaking header designs, and creating simple email templates.
Hourly rates are $75 / hour, billed at half-hour increments.
SEO Starter Package
If you choose not to include the SEO Starter Package in your design project (or your an older client that didn't have this option way back when) then you do have to opportunity to get caught up on your SEO whenever you're ready.
The SEO Starter Package includes the following:
- Keyword & Competitors Research
- Content & Keyword Consultation and Content Action Guide
- Metadata Implementation for up to 30 Pages (can be adjusted to cater to larger websites)
- Search Engine Submission
- Submission to Google for Indexing
- Follow-up Consultation after 2 Months
An SEO setup for your site will assist in search engine rankings and supply you with an Action Guide for implementing helpful practices to your website content.
SEO Starter Package is $500.
Brand Styling
Once you have your brand in place, you'll need to make sure that you don't go strayin' around. And sometimes, to keep on track, you'll need a little help.
Brand styling can be anything from an occasional check-in consultation to make sure you have your ducks in a row for your next big event, or design assistance in carrying your design throughout your business (think Facebook banners, Twitter icons, business card design, packaging, and more).
Here are some things that Brand Styling can help you with:
- Cohesive appearance from your website to social media and print. Including design of:
- Facebook banners
- Twitter icons
- Packaging
- Business cards and other print collateral
- Advertising
- and more...
- Developing a style guide for product photography
- Mapping out launch sequences for products or events
- Translating your brand look and feel across all mediums
Brand Styling consultations start at $150 / session & design work is priced per project.
Email Newsletter Consulting, Design, and Development
Reaching your dream customers with email marketing is an effect way to reach the people who want to hear from you. I include email marketing setup and simple newsletter design in all website design projects, but sometimes you need a little more. Additional simple newsletter templates and the fancier editable templates can be custom designed for your on request.
Also, if you need help figuring out who to most effectively use email marketing for your creative business, I do offer Email Marketing Consultations to help you develop a plan for reaching your subscribers.
Simple Newsletter Design is $200
