
Sometimes I gripe about living in the mountains of North Carolina, living in a town of less than 2,000 inhabitants, with no Target, airport, or like-minded souls to speak of.
But this place is beautiful. Breathtaking. Quiet. We sleep with all our windows open and get awoken by birds. We have a view that's to die for.
We moved here 2 years ago tomorrow, and as much as I occasionally dream about moving to the city, I know we'll never live anywhere quite like this again.
Which is why we've decided to stay for another year. We're not ready to leave just yet.
